The Future Filled Box

Almost 4 months into a new year!

What wonders will the rest of 2026 bring? Event #4, The Future Filled Box is your chance to sit down, take a breath, and spend a few minutes thinking about the year you will soon live through.

And then you will box it up.

For Event #4 you will be tasked with building a shoebox diorama. The theme is super broad: the coming year you are currently traveling through. Think of 2026 and put some of it into a diorama.

Do you want to use the box as a moodboard for all the exciting adventures, geographic, emotional, educational, or other, that you hope to go on this year?

Are you interested in a darker box full of all your fears for 2026?

You could use your box to show your preferred sporting franchise dominating that other group that you dislike so much. (Those other guys stink so bad!)

Are there movies or shows or games coming out in 2026 that you are excited about?

Are you really jazzed about this year’s HBO lineup, or maybe just want to use this event as an excuse to make visual fan fiction about Zendaya from Euphoria hooking up with the clock twink from Gilded Age?

It’s your box!

You fill it in any way that brings you joy.

Boxes will be judged on creativity and craft. To give people enough time to make what they want, the deadline for this event will be May 5th, Cinco de Mayo.

The physical box does not need to be sent in to win. In fact, if you want to think outside the box in some manner, that is acceptable. We refuse to give you any excuse not to unleash ferocious creativity in any direction you choose.
