Too many email notifications...

As I mentioned earlier, these "groups" are new to our website and having just turned them on hours ago I am finding out that the default settings can generate a fair amount of email notifications.


If you never check your email I suppose you don't have to worry about it. But if you are a member of the group and don't want to get inundated with too many notifications I would suggest taking a second to change a setting on the site. Just go to your "Notification Settings" and remove a few categories.


It only takes a few clicks.


Go to the groups section of the site and find the Group List.

Hit the 3 dots to open up your preferences.

From here you can simply turn off all email notifications or just click the ones you want to get, like "Posts". Getting an email every time someone makes a comment or a new member joins is a bit much. I apologize that their default settings are configured like this.
